More Norwegians who likes us! Bergens Tidende gives the record 5/6: (the review says 4/6, but they told us they printed the wrong number)
Ikke at det er noe nytt ved jenter som bruker tiden på å spille gitar og synge lengselsfullt om leve et lykkeligere liv. Men Hello Saferide er altså en som skiller seg ut. Hvorfor? Først og fremst stemmen, med en fint snev av ruhet og en god, romslig klang i seg. Dernest melodiene, glade popsanger (stort sett) et sted mellom Jonathan Richman og Lisa Ekdahl. Tekstene hever nivået enda et hakk, med titler som «If I don't write this song, someone I love will die» og «I thought you said summer is going to take the pain away» og linjer som «Oh my God, you're wearing your Lorenzo Lamas again». Og når alt dette slås sammen frambringes et bilde av en sterk og sårbar sanger (som egentlig heter Annika Norlin), med verden i sin gitar og pulsen i sin stemme. Med en liten hitsang som «My best friend», med refrenget «Damn! I wish I was a lesbian», skal en ikke se bort fra at oppmerksomheten kan bli så stor at det tar litt av.
